These three
charming East Denver neighborhoods feature interconnected greenways lined by many fine
homes reflecting popular architectural styles of the past 100 years. They are roughly
bounded by East 17th Avenue Parkway, East 6th Avenue Parkway, Montview Boulevard, and
Clermont, Forest, Monaco, and Richthofen Parkways.
Richthofen Parkway leads to Montclair, an 1885 suburban town with much subsequent infill
that was annexed to Denver in 1902. This heterogeneous district resembles a catalog of
residential styles from the 1880s to the 1990s.
The nearby Hilltop and
Crestmoor neighborhoods are home to Robinson Park, a 7.7-acre park at East 3rd and
Fairfax, as well as Cranmer Park. Originally called Mountain View Park, Cranmer Park is a
23-acre park with lavish flower beds, a sundial, and a flagstone deck that serves as a
guide for viewing the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak.
