OVERVIEW

The South Suburban Golf Course was opened in 1973. Few homes were built around the golf course at this time. However over the years numerous subdivisions have developed through a variety of the areas top builders. In the 1970's and 1980's the Heritage Green subdivision came about on the north east side of the golf course. Only about 1/4 of the homes actually back to the course. However, they are quality and the neighborhood is exceptionally well thought out and has matured nicely. There is a community pool and tennis courts for residences. In the early 1990's new homes were added to this subdivsion further enhancing it's look and feel. Early 2000 the Fairways at South Suburban came about on the SW side of the golf course. Only a select few can call this area home. Homes in this community range from the $300's up to the $900's depending on size, location and design upgrades. This course is designed around Dry Creek and settled into nature like it belongs. With the trees, water, and hills as obstacles, a round of golf here is nothing but a challenge. The greens are sloping and will either test or hone your putting skills.

South Suburban Golf Course opened in 1973 and offers 27 holes--an 18-hole with a par-3 9 hole. It is managed by the South Suburban Park and Recreation District. South Suburban is a three-time National Gold Medal Winner for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. Overall the course offers an incredbile and challenging experience at a reasonable rate with some of the best moutain views for any front range golf community.
